ABFAB DRAG returns to Artscape for two performances on 7 and 8 August 2026, celebrating Cape Town’s longstanding drag tradition and the creativity of the LGBTIQA+ community. The production features Vida Fantabisher, Manila von Teez, Kat Gilardi, Jayde Kay Johnson, Angel Lalamore and Mitchell Darling, with choreography by Nkosinathi Sangweni. Terence Bridgett hosts the evening, while director Basil Appollis brings the performances together through music, movement, comedy and theatrical flair. The 2026 production is dedicated to Soli Philander and Alfred Rietman and forms part of Artscape’s annual Women’s Humanity Festival.
