CTL Queer Book Club – 7 March 2026

CTL Queer Book Club is a relaxed community meetup centred around queer literature and conversation. The morning begins with coffee and a social meet-and-greet where attendees share ideas about books and get to know each other. You do not need to be a big reader to attend. Many people join for the conversation, the sense of community, and the shared interest in stories. The meetup takes place inside Cape Town Central Library in the Art Library section on the mezzanine floor. You do not need to be a member of the library to attend, although library membership is free. The organisers use the term "Lesbian" as an inclusive umbrella label intended to help people find community rather than limit participation. The group welcomes sapphics, women who love women (including bisexual and pansexual women), as well as queer, trans and gender non-binary people.

This event is located in Cape Town and is part of the city's LGBTQ+ community landscape.
