FAG/STAG is a comedy-drama stage production about friendship, masculinity, and the uneasy transition into adulthood. Jimmy and Corgan are best friends hurtling toward their thirties, navigating a world of Hinge dates, Grindr hookups, binge drinking, and relationships that never quite seem to go anywhere. As the wedding of Corgan’s ex approaches and Jimmy’s love life continues to stall, both men begin to realise that the lives they imagined for themselves may be slipping further out of reach. The story unfolds twice — once from each character’s perspective — revealing two sharply different versions of the same friendship. Funny, raw, and unexpectedly tender, FAG/STAG explores contemporary masculinity and what it means to hold onto a best mate when you’re both still figuring out who you are.
