Join a morning sapphic hike to Woodstock Cave, a moderate trail with rewarding views across the city and toward Table Mountain. This community walk starts in Vredehoek and follows a steeper uphill route to the cave, making it a good fit for those comfortable with a bit of effort in exchange for the scenery. Meet at the corner of Chelmsford Road and Ash Grove Road in Vredehoek at 7:45 AM. The hike starts promptly at 8:00 AM. The route is approximately 6.4 km with an elevation gain of 408 m. There is limited shade along the way, so bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. A light snack is also a good idea for a short break at the cave. Please take any litter home with you. After the hike, the group will head to Bootleggers in Vredehoek for coffee and a post-hike social, within walking distance from the end of the trail.
