Join this monthly surf meetup at Muizenberg Beach. All boards, all bodies are welcome, including shortboards, mid-lengths, logs, SUPs and bodyboards. You are also welcome to come for a swim or simply enjoy a beach day with family, kids and dogs. No surfing experience or gear is required. Help and encouragement will be available for anyone catching waves for the first time or returning to the water. Free wetsuits and boards are available from Lifestyle Surf Shop. The meetup usually includes about an hour of surfing, with an optional coffee or lunch afterwards along the beachfront. The event is free, but attendees are asked to book a ticket so organisers can estimate numbers.
