Infogaytion™ is operated by Infogaytion (Pty) Ltd, a registered South African private company.

Welcome to Infogaytion. By accessing or using this website and platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

Infogaytion is intended for users aged 18 years and over.

By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Platform Purpose

Infogaytion is a curated discovery platform that provides:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Infogaytion does not own, organise or operate the listed venues, events, businesses or organisations. Infogaytion may provide platform services, including event registration and ticketing, on behalf of third-party organisers.

3. User Accounts

Some features require account registration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Infogaytion may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Submissions & Listings

Infogaytion may approve, request amendments, or decline submissions that are incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, inconsistent with platform guidelines, or outside the platform's editorial scope. Approval of submissions is at the sole discretion of Infogaytion.

For events specifically, please review our Event Submission Guidelines for details on how event submissions are reviewed and approved.

5. Claimed Listings

Businesses and organisations may request to claim existing listings.

Claims are subject to verification and review.

Approval is not guaranteed.

Once approved, the claimant may manage listing content.

Infogaytion may revoke a claim and revert a listing to unclaimed status if authorisation cannot be verified or platform policies are breached.

6. Perks & Promotional Offers

Infogaytion may feature promotional offers or "Perks" provided by participating listings (including venues and services).

Perks are created and managed by the participating listing. Availability, eligibility, and redemption conditions are determined by the provider.

Infogaytion provides platform tools to support Perk discovery and redemption, which may include QR activation, redeem codes, and activity tracking. These tools are intended to support verification and engagement and do not constitute proof of purchase or payment.

Infogaytion is not responsible for the fulfilment, modification, or withdrawal of third-party promotional offers.

Infogaytion acts solely as a discovery and engagement platform and is not a party to any transaction or agreement between users and participating listings.

7. Notifications & Platform Engagement

Infogaytion may send platform notifications related to listings, Perks, account activity or ticket purchases.

Members may receive notifications when listings they follow publish or update Perks or relevant content.

Infogaytion manages notification frequency and delivery to maintain a balanced user experience.

Users may manage notification preferences or opt out of certain communications through their account settings or unsubscribe options where applicable.

8. Infogaytion Tickets

Infogaytion Tickets enables event organisers to offer free registrations and paid tickets for events.

When purchasing a ticket or registering for an event, you may also be required to agree to additional ticketing terms, organiser policies, or event-specific conditions.

Infogaytion facilitates ticketing services but is not the organiser of events listed on the platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

Event organisers are responsible for the content of their events, event delivery, communications with attendees, refund policies, and compliance with applicable laws.

Additional ticketing policies, including the Organiser Agreement, Settlement & Payments Policy and Refund Policy, apply where relevant.

9. Images & Intellectual Property

By uploading images, logos, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to use them.

You grant Infogaytion a non-exclusive right to display uploaded content on the platform.

Infogaytion may remove content that infringes intellectual property or violates platform guidelines.

The Infogaytion™ name, branding, logos, and platform identity elements may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

10. Support & Resources Disclaimer

Support & Resources listings are provided for informational purposes only.

Infogaytion does not provide medical, legal, mental health, or crisis services and is not responsible for outcomes resulting from third-party services.

In emergencies, contact local emergency services or a recognised crisis provider.

Infogaytion aims to maintain accurate and respectful listings through moderation, review processes, and community corrections. However, information may change over time or contain third-party details that cannot always be independently verified.

By submitting or managing a listing, you acknowledge that approved information published on Infogaytion may become publicly accessible online, including through search engines, social sharing, and third-party indexing services.

Participation on the platform is voluntary. Businesses, organisers, venues, and individuals remain responsible for the information they submit, their own operations, communications, and external interactions.

Infogaytion does not guarantee protection from third-party conduct, commentary, harassment, misuse of publicly available information, or interactions occurring outside the platform.

Infogaytion is not responsible for the services, actions, conduct, safety practices, or outcomes associated with third-party venues, businesses, organisations, service providers, or event operators.

Where Infogaytion provides ticketing services, it acts as the platform facilitating registrations and ticket sales. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Infogaytion is not the organiser of events and is not responsible for the organisation, delivery, cancellation or operation of third-party events.

Listing approval, rejection, removal, visibility, categorisation, and editorial placement remain at the sole discretion of Infogaytion.
