Giovanni’s Deliworld is a long-established Green Point delicatessen and café that has been serving Cape Town since 1989. Founded by Giovanni Esposito at the age of 25, the deli began as a small neighbourhood store offering fresh meals, local breads, cheeses, and charcuterie. Two years later, a coffee bar was added, shaping Giovanni’s into a European-style café centred around espresso and everyday conversation. Today, Giovanni’s remains a family-run institution known for its ready-made meals, imported and locally sourced ingredients, and consistent presence in the Green Point community.
