LGBTQ+ East London: Pride, Coast & Community

East London’s LGBTQ+ visibility has grown around Buffalo City Inclusive Pride, which held its third march in November 2025 along Quigney and the Esplanade under the theme “Queer, African & Proud”. The Pride has been organised with local civil-society partners and positions visibility, safety and community-building alongside celebration.
